A NEW YEAR OF CRIME FIGHTING IN BROADMOOR
NO DRUGS! NO CRIME! NO FEAR!
BROADMOOR LIVES ON!
The Crime Prevention Committee of Broadmoor is dedicated to the reduction of crime and enhancing the lives of those who live in Broadmoor. Those of us who live in Broadmoor are actually fighting crime every day by walking our dogs, riding our bikes, looking out for our neighbors, lighting our homes, and noticing on a daily basis the normal routines of our particular neighborhoods and streets. This is a good start and, thanks to Virginia Saussy, our previous Crime Prevention Chair, much has been done in the last three years to reduce crime in Broadmoor.
This year, we are putting out a Call for Action. Our major goal for this year is
To Increase Communication
The actions we will take to achieve this goal include the following:
- Neighborhood Watch
- Renewed Walk Broadmoor
- Installing Call Boxes
- More Working Crime Cameras
- Recruiting police to live in Broadmoor
- Crime Prevention messages on bus stop benches
- DA's Office Liaision at Crime Prevention Meetings
- Presence of the Broadmoor's Social Worker at CP Meetings
- Website Updates
- Crime Prevention Meetings
I am pleased to be the new Crime Prevention Chair for Broadmoor and can be reached by email at
