Arts & Wellness Center Calendar

Located on the second floor of the former St. Matthias School, the Arts & Wellness Center (AWC) is designed to enrich the community at every life stage by bringing together innovative, creative programs and holistic wellness services in one vibrant collaborative space.

 

Since the AWC's opening in 2015, community members have been able to engage in a variety of wellness programming, including music and dance, yoga, martial arts, educational workshops, and counseling. Services are designed to impact people of all ages.

 

These programs generate opportunity, increase overall racial and economic equity and improve the quality of life of individuals in the community. The synthesis between community spaces provides individuals with a supportive network, sense of belonging and increased self-worth.

 

Broadmoor Arts & Wellness Center – Rental & Facility Update

At the Broadmoor Arts & Wellness Center (AWC), we welcome anyone who wants to rent our spaces—you don’t need to offer health or wellness programs to book our rooms! Our multi-purpose room #1 & #2, counseling suites, and Studio Freestyle are available for one-time or recurring rentals—perfect for meetings, classes, workshops, or events.

Important Updates:

  • The center is currently under renovations, including updates to our HVAC system.

  • For now, window units are in place to keep all rental spaces comfortable.

  • We encourage all potential renters to tour the space before booking to ensure it meets your needs.

Rental Rates & Requirements

We offer a sliding scale payment model to make our spaces accessible to the community:

  • Standard Rate – Open to all renters.

  • Non-Profit Rate – Proof of 501(c)(3) or other non-profit status is required.

  • Broadmoor Resident Rate – Proof of residency in the 70125 ZIP code is required.

Booking Steps:

  1. Visit our website and click “Book Online” to view room calendars.

  2. Email reservations@broadmoorimprovement.com to schedule a tour.

  3. After touring and confirming your dates, submit payment promptly to secure your reservation.

How Rental Funds Are Used

All funds collected from rentals support the Broadmoor Arts & Wellness Center and the Broadmoor Improvement Association. Your rental fees help us:

  • Maintain and improve the facility, including HVAC and other essential upgrades

  • Provide safe, welcoming, and accessible spaces for community programs and events

  • Support ongoing programs that enhance wellness, arts, and community connection in Broadmoor

By renting space at the AWC, you’re not just booking a room—you’re investing in the growth, health, and vibrancy of our Broadmoor community.
