Super Summer 2022 - Juneteenth in Broadmoor

The Broadmoor Improvement Association celebrated Juneteenth. We were so excited to partner with Young Audiences of Southeastern Louisiana and New Orleans Public Library on Saturday, June 18, 2022 for a special, family-oriented Juneteenth event at Rosa F. Keller Library & Community Center.

The fun kicked off at 9:30 am with a morning singalong incorporating African and Native music, an interactive workshop experience, and a Juneteenth-themed storybook scavenger hunt.

All children received a free book, a snack, an activity packet, and more! For parents who needed a morning boost, received free coffee by HEY! Coffee Co.
