Spotlight on Broadmoor Food Pantry Delivery Drivers

Broadmoor Delivery Drivers are an integral part of the Broadmoor Food Pantry team. They deliver meals to homebound seniors and COVID-19 vulnerable residents. Delivery drivers ensure that residents who cannot make it to the food pantry don’t miss out on receiving their monthly grocery box, allowing them to stay safe and still receive the food assistance that they need. Due to COVID-19, we have had to alter much of our pantry’s operations and the addition of delivery service is making a huge impact on our community. We are confident that this service is helping to reduce food insecurity and we thank our delivery drivers for their dedication.

Interested in getting involved? Delivery drivers are required to have their own personal vehicle and a driver's license. Our delivery driver position has a lot of flexibility in terms of time commitment. Delivery drivers can take an hour off of their day to make deliveries to residents who greatly appreciate this service.

We have established a number of COVID-19 safety procedures that allow both our volunteers and clients to feel comfortable attending the pantry. If you are interested in joining our team of volunteers as a delivery driver, contact us at communications@broadmoorimprovement.com
